As a direct result of the fundraising efforts of the Mount Ward Alumni Association, and thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters, the following projects have recently been successfully completed.

– A music program has been established, complete with the installation of a piano and other musical instruments.

– The installation of two 1,000 gallon water tanks which supply clean water to the school.

– The school building itself has been painted, both inside and out.

– Doors and locks have been replaced.

– The Principal’s office has undergone a much needed renovation.

– Both the boy’s, and girl’s washrooms have been reconstructed.

– The flooring in the classrooms has been changed with floor tiles installed.

(3 rooms completed, 2 remain to be done)

– Chalk boards in the classrooms have been replaced with more modern and sanitary white boards.

Our continuing and ongoing projects include:

– The sponsoring of the newly established music program.

– The sponsoring of the school’s lunch program, supplying students in need with healthy meals and snacks.

– The sponsoring of the school’s annual sports day, promoting physical fitness and good sportsmanship.
